Jet Lagin'. Dude, I swear, i'm still feeling the effects of the high...plane ride that is. I feel asleep over at my mom's house this afternoon and woke up to find Road Rules 10 going on. I don't know what happened, after eating lunch over at the General's that stuff knocked me out. Sure it wasn't turkey burglers?

In other news, my little sister made 28th place out of 80-Something in her Cross Country Track meet today. Congratulations and keep on running, that appears to be the theme for our entire family. =P

Song of the Day:
1.) Pearl Jam - Soldier of Love.

Morning. I got last night confused for tonight where I think i'm gonna go hang with The Jake and The Amy and their friends. Word has it that The General got a dog for his boy, but other reports have flooded in with regards to tonights dinner at his household that appears to be "dog-a-licious". POTG and Carrozzi Girl are still recovering from the effects of Las Vegas, copeing with their problems by going over their bank statements over and over again. Man, Method Joe cooked some GOOD shit last night, pork chops with red beans/rice and zatarans. I couldn't believe how good it was. I think i'll clean this joint, it's starting to smell like a cheap Casino in here.

Let me kick out the jams. Alright, it's Friday and let's not hope for another debacle of a weekend. I'm ready to finally relax and have some fun. Here's a joint that should start the weekend off on a positive note:

Another Song of the Day:
1.) Oasis - Whatever.

Man..it's friday? Shit, the weekend came faster than I thought, thanks to Viva Las Vegas. I told the Gimp last night that one entire day in Vegas was probably enough for me and my wallet. I think I spent close to 100 bucks on myself (gambling, food, etc.) and about 120 on presents. If you didn't get one, that's probably because I ran out of cash, so don't be a bitch..! I can't wait to get the hell out of here and relax for the weekend.

Song of the Day! Alright, i'm tired as all hell, but it won't stop me from putting a Song of the Day up. You guys might remember this one from...I dunno 1996. I think just about every song I like came from 1996 and all you Austin fools know how much I dig local artists that sound like Shitty Pat Benetar. Muahaha. Anyways, the song of the day:

Song of the Day:
1. The Jesus and Mary Chain featuring Hope Sandoval - Sometimes, Always.

Lag! Man, I know it sounds weird, but I think the Jet Lag finally got to me. I'm devastated this morning. Fortunately I made it into work 'just on time' to actually sit down and stare in wonderment why i'm so damn tired. I even went to bed at a decent time last night. I think it was the Nyquil/Boris's Discount Vodka combo. Haha, just kidding. Going back to sleep now, with my eyes open at staring at my computer monitor.

Positivity is the key. I'm putting positive thoughts in everything I do now. I see the General, his family and how happy it makes him, I see POTG and Carrozzi Girl and it makes me happy and I look at my own family with pride and love. Everything's changed now.

Well, I got shorned. My hair stylist (aka the lady at Supercuts) said that the way my hair was now it would look too funny to cut it completely short. So no Zoolander H-Dog for the ladies. Oh well. I'm building up my 'underside' for the day that I get the Generic Grade-A Asian Haircut. It'll happen, just you see.

Anybody know where I can get some of those 'Lacoste' shirts? You know, the ones with the little fox or alligator on them? I know it turned into IZOD at one point, but I want to get some of the classic polo's. By the way, I'm going to 'shorn' my hair with an edge up this afternoon. Cutting the locks off, new lease on life I guess. I'll post a defamatory picture of me after the incident.

My camera waits to take photographs
while my mind tends to forget.
The skin on my hands are dry from
all the inconsistency that come
from indecision,
and you know she's upset about something.

Your wishes vanish quicker
than the drop of water on the petal
sitting outside your window;
every morning your past sits in
two perforated boxes put perfectly
aside in a closet.

For all the wants and needs in the world,
for everything that means so much to you,
the preparation is all about looking
at a birthday card laying on your
nightstand...
Where the signature underneath the glossed paper
are from ghosts that speak quietly.

A package of painting paper,
a bag of brushes,
painted vividly in my mind that tomorrow
is something different,
but the night houses all the fears.
A growling beast that follows in the dark;
a howling creature breathing on my neck.

The sleep is more sound,
the mornings easier to inhale
but you find that your mind is
that beast;
you make your accords, you
see two bottle caps on the floor--
--one opened by a hand, the other metal.

As the day progresses,
everything seems to feel the calm
and reassurance that the afternoon
will not lead into a cold night,
until you find a strand of her hair on
your pillow,
and you cannot lay your head down.

Setbacks and follies are the theme
from the moment you rise from sleep
till you decend to sleep,
and all that you have done, tried and
reflected are what makes the dreams
worth it all.
je vous aime toujours et n'oublierai jamais.

Sorry for the long epic and blatant use of Babel Fish here. Something I had to get out of me. Life's about figuring it all out and when you realize that it's too late, you save it for the next round. Peace.

Good Morning all you Party People. I'm thinking about dropping the C++ class, mainly due to the fact that I have to miss two classes next week per California Trip and the instructor is completely useless. The General may stick through it, which I should, but I already feel like i've lost the momentum. I hope there's alot of projects at work today to keep me occupied, but no work would be sweet too I guess. I'm waiting for POTG and CarrozziGirl to develop the Viva Las Vegas pictures so I can do a special page for that. Anyways, keep it real folks, keep it real.

Stupid Blogger. System's been all wiggy today. Anyways, enough with the roller coaster ride, the ups, the downs and be at calm that the I just went down the crest. Thus, the Song of the Day:

Song of the Day:
1.) Gomez - Pick up the Pieces.
posted by The H.Bomb| 4:15 PM | email | archive

It's whenever the concrete glistens
and the stars fade away,
that the short path to the end of the road
lies a million miles
till you realize that it's the day.

When the fear, the hurt, the pain
finally settles down on crumpled
wax paper in your pocket,
you rub your eyes and
open them to grasp it.

All the suffering ends
with the last goodbye,
all the moments that were missed
are smoke in the rear view mirror.
And you drive cautiously
and forget to think about her.

But it's alright, the sunsets
become sunrises,
the blue morning opens
and the sky becomes the environ,
where you tell yourself
that it's time to stop being stubborn.

Driving cautiously down the highway,
where a million miles away
is the rest of your life;
every stop comes in stages,
you move on
and everything changes.

H-Dog over and out.

First day back in the normal world. Well let me say this, Airport security is not a big deal. Although I got man handled at Austin-Bergstrom when we were leaving for Vegas, everything was normal. What sucks is you need a ticket to get into the terminals, so if you're there to pick people up or whatever, you have to stand before the security checks.

Some quick highlights from Vegas:
1.) H-Dog blows 35 bucks on slot machines, wins 120 at one point, eats popcorn and drinks water for the rest of the week.
2.) All of us eat at the most depressing Breakfast Buffet, the Surf Buffet at the Boardwalk Casino. We knew something was fishy when the slot machine car prize was just a Jeep Cherokee.
3.) A mentally handicap person at the Surf Buffet destroys the calm, overhead muzak of the sea waves and birds chirping with a groan/hollar reminiscent of a World War II makeshift battle hospital.
4.) Excalibur was the best hotel/casino there. Everything was so gauddy, cheesey and downright disgusting. If any of you guys remember The Time Machine restaurant, imagine one about 500 times bigger, with legalized gambling and 50-year old bar wenches.
5.) The General snores and passes gas all night in the hotel room.
6.) POTG goes on a gambling spree, hits his highs and lows and ultimately feels like he fell in a money pit.
7.) New York, New York roller coaster is a whopping $10.50 per person to ride.
8.) Beer, Drinks, etc. cost only a quarter if you know how to do it right.
9.) Good to be back in Austin with my credit in tact.
