Comp Time like a mofo... Decided to take the first half of the day off after Extravaganzathon in San Antonio yesterday. Yeah, just finished downloading and watching the episode of Smallville that I did miss, called Rogue. Was pretty good, no mutant aliens to battle, but I sure do miss the cheesey Dawson's Creek type stuff they used to have in there...but there's Kelly Brooke. Jason Schwartzman (aka Max Fischer from Rushmore) is in a new movie called Slackers. Check out the trailer here.

Just got back about 45 minutes ago... Man, you wouldn't believe what happened there in Sony Semiconductor. Well first off, we did some modifications to our test board that matched some mystical documentation that suddenly materialized when we arrived. So after I suited up to get into the clean room, my boss and I are staring at this load board that looked like it was ghetto rigged from all hell. Die on the wafer is failing, but then he touches some of the surface mounted components and then suddenly it kicks into action and passes some chips. Then he says (no exaggeration): "Holy fucking shit. That did the trick. Nice job guys." Geez. I'm so tired.

Chicken Fried..MethodJoe? Man, so I decide to pick up a six pack of Rolling Rock and treat myself to some television. So i'm sitting down when there's a knock on my door and it's El Gimpo. Well, there's three beers for me anyhow. MethodJoe found Wally's old Fry Daddy that he got from his mom last Christmas stashed somewhere in the kitchen. I didn't even realize he had left it, but anyways, Meth started frying up some chicken for some Soul Food Potluck he has tomorrow at work. He only used 4 of the 11 Herbs and Spices the Colonel uses, but hey, free fried chicken is a-ok in my book.

They also have Contra, Blades of Steel and Excitebike! These games look like utter crap, but you gotta love them. I seriously can't believe they looked this bad. Gonna go dig up my old gyro-bot..

Those wacky Mormon's.. Remember when I told you guys the Good Ole' Mormon Boys stopped by to hustle some Salvation out of me? Well, I thought I had scared them off for good, but they came by the other day. I decided not to answer the door and told MethodJoe to turn off all the lights and make real quiet like. They hung around my door for probably 10 minutes or so, knocking ever so often. I'm sorry man, if the Big Man Upstairs is resting on Sunday, so am I, so quit bugging me. It's worse then telemarketers sometimes, because they're annoying you in your face. As mentioned earlier, the segment that really annoyed me about their whole presentation was that they couldn't divulge 'trade secrets' of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints, unless I made certain commitments like BAPTISM and BLOOD LETTING or something rather to the Church. You gotta be kidding me, shouldn't that be free knowledge?

Or the lost tribe of Israel that God guided to the America's in a Spanish Galleon roughly 600 to 800 years B.C. And how a lost portion of the Holy Bible (aka The Book of Mormon) was found in NEW JERSEY? Yes, the same place JOEY BUTTAFUOCO and AMY FISHER did their thing. I love rewriting HIStory.

Department Increase! My department here at work is about to increase it's personel by 100%. Yes, that's one hundred percent...which means i'm finally getting an assistant. I was gonna talk The Gimp into trying out for the position, but I don't know if he could work under my tyranny or all the sexual harrassment. Hahaha, just kidding. H-Dog be all up and ready for what has been called 'Sonny Chiba II: The Return of Sonny Chiba' birthday bash for Scott next weekend. Word has it there's going to be beer there and maybe a bottle to spin. Pin the tail on the donkey is optional and as always, bring your own jammy jams.

Entertain-a-thon. Since I ditched work today, I sat on my ass and rented Hannibal and The Soprano's Season 1 Volume 1. Damn, Soprano's is a good show, too bad I don't have HBO though. The complete first and second season is on DVD, so I can easily rent them at the local Blockbuster, but now I have to wait till close to the end of this year for the third season...hell, I might even have to wait until 2003. Anyways, gonna go watch the final episode.

The Golden Joke Awards. The Fellowship of the Rings got snuffed in every category it was nominated in! I didn't watch it three times just to see it get the big can at the half-assed Oscars. Of course, this is the same prestigious body of critics (The Hollywood Foreign Press) that gave Legally Blonde a nomination for best Comedy/Musical. Why the hell (besides for the sake of convienence) would a Musical be Comedic and vice versa? But like I was telling all you chumps all these years: Nicole Kidman is beautiful. Now that she dumped that 5'3" guy that was in that movie that had those pilots and MIG Fighter Planes, she's available. Somebody please email me her phone number.

However, Gene Hackman does get the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy for The Royal Tenenbaums! So little redemption, however, for such a big debacle. It's like saying: "Well, my entire 401k went down the tube after Enron went belly up, but all those years of stealing office supplies has given me a well equiped desk."

Since A Beautiful Mind won everything in sight, I guess we should go see Russell Crowe drool and generally go insane. I'll go see it just for Jennifer Connolly though...damn, makes you wonder why she didn't win anything for The Rocketeer?

THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF! St. Louis Rams exploited The Packer's errors tonight! The leagues 3rd best defense was able to outscore the circus known as The Warner/Faulk/Holt/Bruce Extravaganza! 45 to 17! Holy! Next stop, a good rooking of Philadelphia and then on to the big game. Oh yeah, if you haven't noticed, checked out The Brotherhood of the Wolf with P.Diddy, Carrozzi, The Jake and Dames yesterday and posted an incoherent review. Nothing but tits in that movie, I tell ya.

Alright, so the H-Dog's NFL Playoff predictions have gone awry. New England defeated Oakland in a controversial overtime win, and the Eagles defeated the Bears. Knowing how the Bears pulled off an amazing regular season with their last ditch efforts, why the hell did I choose them to beat the Eagles? Because Philly fans suck! Anyways, THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF versus the The Cheese Packers. The game i've been wanting to see.
