Messed up Television for Children! Ok, so I was up a little early and stumbled upon Oswald on Nick Jr.. First thing that came to my mind was a talking Sperm Whale, but he's just an Octupus...and a fact finding mission revealed that FRED SAVAGE of The Wonder Years fame (yeah Winnie...) is the voice of Oswald. Oh yeah, and the Milhouse connecton:
Emily and I went to watch The Death of a Salesmen performed by the Southwest Texas State Shakespeare Company. Le Artiste-en-Residente, Larry Hovis (aka Sgt. Andrew Carter of Hogan's Heroes) was the only highlight of the production. The added pyrotechnics also helped as did the CGI effects with that Gorilla Monkey Monster. The rest of the cast however, was quite wooden. I'm still waiting for a stage production of Tomb Raider.
Song of the Day:
1.) Counting Crows - Sweet Home Alabama (Live Cover).

Some dude up in the Northwest Hills is rolling with this bad boy..! I saw this exact Lamborghini Murcielago a couple days ago around the Mesa/Far West intersection, but only barely glimpsed it--in my rear view mirror as I smoked his ass in my Integra LS! Ha, just kidding. It was probably up there with seeing that other guy driving down Cap. Tex with a Ferarri 456M and that crusty Asian with my baby, a silver/blue Ferrari 360 Modena. Ah, to be poor..
Oh yeah, Happy Birthday Wally. Try not to drink too much vodka.

Back on the Voltaire again.. No, it's not the latest, most fashionable drug on the market, i'm talking the wit of the French Enlightenment, Francois Marie Arouet. I have a paperback collection of his more popular writings that I lent MethodJoe...maybe it's about time I borrow it back.
"Originality is nothing but judicious imitation. The most original writers borrowed from one another. The instruction we find in books is like fire. We fetch it from our neighbours, kindle it at home, communicate it to others, and it becomes the property of all."
Song of the Day:
1.) Chris Thomas King - Me, My Guitar and The Blues. Not off the 'Legend of..' album, but a coooool song...

Chris Thomas King. Wow, I was taking Wally's recommendation of the new Chris King/Tommy Johnson album and I must say: "Spectacular". Talk about a pretty amazing album, stuck with enough Delta/Southern blues to keep any fan happy. Hai-Le recommended. Ha.

Yo! Somebody's in my parking spot... First it was Cindy Davis who be creeping up in my parking spot, now it's one of the new guys in their black and white (don't ask) Mitsubishi Eclipse!! Now I have to park RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE ENTRY DOORS. The H.Dog isn't real keen on that. I mean, what if I have to "slip away" for a second? All eyes are on me. The new assistant to Mr. Le is a pretty cool guy, he's known my boss for years and was just recently laid off from Motorola. I will mold him into a dork such as myself, then my army of mongaloids will march to glory.
Song of the Day:
1.) Starsailor - Good Souls. Jeff Buckley returns from the dead! Not Really, but the lead singer of Starsailor is a huge Buckley fan and has a cover of 'Lover You Should of Come Over' on their new album.

Not much to talk about... Getting slammed at work, gotta go do some freelance computer work AFTER work...just too much work on the brain today. Watched some pretty bad David E. Kelly shows yesterday, like Boston Public, etc. Man, I hate to say it, but I kinda miss school right now. I should of signed up for some of the short semester, seeing how i've been inherited a whole lotta free time on my hands. I need to get back into painting, because The General said he has a bunch of Oil paints he hasn't used in years...Anyways, gonna go to lunch. P.S.-Carrozzi! You're still my Buddy!
Song of the Day:
1.) Black Crowes - She Talks To Angels.

Happy El Presidente's Day. My work had today flagged as a day of general importance, thus I sit here in my boxer's typing. Had a great time this weekend, saw Best in Show with Emily, her missing Wisdom Teeth and Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes at the Iron Cactus on Saturday. At first, I thought The Gimp told me Rotel et al were a Thrash/Metal Outfit. To my suprise, they weren't. Yesterday The Jake won ticket's to go see the Austin Ass Bats at the Travis County White Trash Expo Center. It was way too much fun, thanks for inviting us Jake.
Oh man, forgot about the Drama Bomb that happened over at P.Diddy's Friday. Alas...it is not mine to post about.
Song of the Day:
1.) Wilco - I'm the Man Who Loves You.
