Amelie! Finally watched the movie Wally called: "A powerhouse action/thriller that keeps you at the edge of your seat--I shit my pants five times before noticing it. Eric Roberts is explosive as Dr. McBaine, a role worthy of any Turner Network Produced film.". Actually, it was a pretty sweet flick! I'd recommend it to anybody who was debating to go see the Britney Spears vehicle, Crossroads or that Tigerbeat hunk Josh Hartnett's tour-de-force 40 Days and 40 Nights.

Bling, Bling. I thought it would be pretty funny to buy one of these fake Diamond Encrusted Dollar Sign dookie chains and front like I was a No Limit Soldier. Because in the dirty south, Aww yeah you know how we do.
Next up would be an iced out Batman Emblem and a matching fanny pack with the words: "Somethin, Somethin" in yellow gold. I also hear that Rappers are now into birth stones, so people like JadaKiss are having Chrysoprase capping their platinum teeth. Must be nice to be so blinging rich. I think i'm gonna cruise through work today, seeing how yesterday was incredibly busy.. |

So what's the haps? The General bid farewell to his old Ghetto by dropping off his keys and then yelling obscenities to the front office. Thanks go out to Dames for noticing the Johnny Cash - One song was truncated. Seeing how RoadRunner and Morpheus don't get along these days, i'll have to find a different version.
Song of the Day:
1.) Ben Kweller - In Other Words. Piano laden track brought to you by Poyfather: The King of Consoles.

Busy as all heck. Cindy Davis be dumping so many projects/orders/whatever on me that the H.Dog doesn't have enough time to use the bathroom...yet i'm able to squeeze enough to type this out! Anyways, Wally's sister, Lizzie, stopped by the apartment yesterday to give me Wally's Christmas present (thanks Mike). THEN she told me that at the Whole Foods she works at, the Wu-Tang Clan came through her checkout line! She only recognized Raekwon and Masta Killa, who were buying smoothies from the Jamba Juice. Go figure.
Song of the Day:
1.) Johnny Cash - One. Yes, it's a cover of U2's One..

Federal Reserve, USA-- Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan told Congress Wednesday that he sees increasing signs that his hair's first recession in a decade is coming to an end. He cautioned the rebound this year is likely to be a subdued one.
Greenspan cited a variety of signs of an improving head of hair in recent months, noting particularly strength in such areas as hair transplant and growth stimulating shampoos. He said these hopeful signals led Fed policy-makers to call a cease-fire to their aggressive campaign of combing over and baseball caps.
"In the past several months, increasing signs have emerged that some of the forces that have been restraining my hair line over the past year are starting to diminish and that activity is beginning to firm," Greenspan told the House Financial Services Committee.
Greenspan, delivering the Fed's semi-balding head forecast to Congress, said his hair this year will grow by between 2.5 percent to 3 percent, when measured from the fourth quarter of last year. That would represent about half the pace of the normal rebound from a recession.

  | Whoa-boy, it's Peter Cetera. Spanning back to the original release date of The Karate Kid Part II (1986), Peter Cetera's "Glory of Love" is still the only song I ever payed to vote for in the MTV's Top 20. Recieving somewhere between 20-30 lashings with a PVC pipe, MTV really stuck it to our phone bill as I single handidly pushed Cetera into the MTV Video Countdown Stratosphere. Those were the days. After going through an intense 48 hours of downloading old Chicago tracks, I still believe he could of kicked Steve Perry's (of Journey fame) ass (Sorry General, you fanboy). You gotta watch the quite ones.. |
In other news, has anybody actually seen this movie? During a conversation with The General a few weeks ago, he mentioned this movie and said (from what I recall): "Yeah man, you always put your good porno tape in the sleeving for The Warriors. No chick would ever want to watch this flick!" So ladies beware! If your man be having a VHS copy of The Warriors in his video collection, take a good look inside, it ain't no story about 70's shirtless gang fighting--well it could be. |

Jayson Williams.. Poyfather blasts the 6'10" former Center in a blog inflamed with enough venom to kill a horse. I totally agree: Jayson Williams is a wreckless hack living out his childish fantasies. I do hope they give him 20 to Life if found guilty. Read the entire event here.

TeaZzer? There's this Diamond Shamrock/Subway down the road from my work that has this machine called the TeaZzer. It has like, fifteen different options for different types of tea, made as you select them. You can hear the machine gurgling and doing something...but man, I tell ya, it's good tea! Well, nothing new to report. If you haven't seen the shots of Dames new pad, it looks pretty sweet. He emailed me the price of this bad boy earlier, so he's looking for somewhere around fifteen roomates to help pay the mortgage. If you're interested in living with a bunch of Soccer/Everquest/Soft Rock groupies, let him know.

Sour, Beer Swilling, Stinky Women w/Binoculars! So we're at the Bob Dylan Concert and in front of us are two older ladies wearing Bud Light T-Shirts, drinking beers with no abandon, burping up the most sour shit you could imagine. Besides that, the concert was good. Dylan and his Band were top notch and sounded great, however, I didn't know about 85% of the songs he was playing (mostly off of Love and Theft). It was good to hear some blues/country renditions of classics like, "Bye, Bye, Bye" and "I want it that way". Nah, just kidding, he did do "Like a Rolling Stone" and (i think it was..) "Rainy Day Women #12 & #35". The highlight of the show was his cool cowboy boots. Thanks again for the tickets Emily!
