Logan's Roadhouse?! Yeah, you ever been to this place? It's an Applebee's with PEANUT SHELLS ALL OVER THE FLOOR! After the glamour and glitz of the Trailer Park visage wear off, what do you have? Another theme restaurant. The sirloin? As good as Outback or even Chilis. Now, i'm not a fine connessiour of restaurants or anything, I mean, I love Taco Bell and SubWay, but there's a certain level of absurdity a place like Logan's oozes with. Oh yeah, they have those annoying "Attention everybody! It's this ladies birthday!" things. Pathetic.

Morning. Dude, there's this mountain of clothes in the corner of my room that is calling for a dresser, or heck, even more laundry baskets. Now, they're all clean, so don't be thinking the H.Dog be having dirty drawls in that pile. I went to my mom's yesterday to see if I could salvage my old dresser, but they went ahead and threw the sucker away, so the only other option I have is to A.) Buy a Dresser (big no no with the new TV coming in.) B.) Buy more Laundry Baskets (a cost effective route) or C.) Make the world's largest clothes ball.
The sky's the limit.

It's about time for a good Hi-Fi site! Ran across this when I was looking for information on acoustic resonance when somehow i came across Masters on Audio. I haven't read this type of audio journalism since Peter Aczel's defunct The Audio Critic stop coming out. Here's a good article on Speaker Myths for you chumps out there eyeing that JBL Ghetto Blaster w/the 12" woofer.
Goodsounds.com get's the Hai Le recommended approval as well.

Closer.. It's getting closer to the 47" Widescreen HDTV, I feel it in my bones. Went apartment looking with Emily and Amy yesterday, where they procured a 2-2 at The Alexian near my Mom's house. Pretty good price for a pretty good apartment, as opposed to the piece of swank that i'm paying for (location, location location). Back to the TV, i've been having slight daydreams of spending a nice evening rearranging my Home Theater, accessing the service menu to tweak the settings and other geeky things. Man, that TV is sooooo cooooool.....

The Gimp be collectin' on yo' ass! A recent email regarding our buddy The Gimp and him having to call Enron's lawyers to pay up:
"Yeah, Enron used the club back in November... spent like $30,000 or so...and then skipped out on payment. And you're right.. I can't call the business itself, I have to contact their lawyers. I looked at the page and went "Yeah, right". There's no way I'm going to be able to speak to their lawyers. I have to go and talk to my boss about it. I got Matthew McConaughy (didn't feel like looking up how to spell his last name) to pay his bills. He was pretty cool, he started laughing when I called him for payment."

Working for the man. There's this piece of "precision" equipment here at work that went all wacky on me earlier and I spent the good deal of the day trying to troubleshoot it. I finally got a heartbeat out of it and now it's working like a champ, but now i'm way behind on some new projects that the H.Dog is slaving for the man into the wee hours of the weekday evening. This stinks.

So close...yet so far. The 47" Panasonic Widescreen HDTV Monitor was so close, yet so far away this weekend. Pending future financial security as the right NOT to purchase that bad boy right there, we left the Circuit City feeling disparate emotions. Well, at least I did. If you're interested in some 'live' pictures of the Panasonic in action, check it here.
In other news, The Jake purchased a new computer not under my watchful eye. Hopefully he didn't get eScrewed on his purchase. Word on the street has it that P.Diddy and Carrozzi Girl might be moving back into the hood (i.e. North Austin) by June or July. Hopefully they can get their swanky new place at The McNeil Hizzouse.
