Welp. Finished The Gimp's page last night, took me less than an hour to get it all done. Check it out here. I watched a little E.R. last night and looks like Dr. Green is gone for good. For those of you who don't know, Dr. Green was the dad in Pet Cemetary II--it being the cinematic juggernaunt it was. Will and Grace...this show sucks man. I just can't get into it, and how about that moronic "let's have a baby" ending? But the highlight of the television night? JUST SHOOT ME! With Finch's band GRF Funk-Cart! The Air-Guitar band with Huey Lewis and C.C. Deville of POISON! hahahah man, that was some great stuff.

For those of you with lives and didn't notice, Say Anything came out on DVD finally. I went with the General (who is now a hobbling carcass of a man, due to a bone spur in his foot--from a turkey leg he ate! nah really..) the other day to Fry's and picked it up.

But me? I'm just talking idiot right now. We have a company picnic today that starts around 11:00am. This usually means a bunch of rednecks sitting around a cooler, Bud Lite in hand and talking about fishing takle--cool!

Heh. I was reading reviews on Universal Remote Controls (yeah, i'm a dork) and I came across this particular one. Now keep in mind that equipment reviewers typically get demo products from manufacturers where they usually use them in their own homes. Anyways, read this and lemme know what you think he was watching while reviewing this remote!

With the plethora of touchscreen remote controls suddenly available on the consumer market, one might wonder what appeal a regular buttoned universal remote might offer. Well, the answer came to me late one night as I was watching a movie. I wanted to rewind the film to review a certain scene over again, but as I was using a touchscreen model, I had to bring the remote up from under the blanket, turn the backlight on and find the button.

Hahahahaha...anyways, going back to work....PORNO!

I'll be the first to admit it. Using the bathroom with shorts is the pits. I mean, everybody knows my hose comes on full strong when i'm using the restroom, so the splashback can be quite unnerving. Now, im my own personal bathroom where the lake levels can be kept nominal, there is a reduction of splashback. What i'm talking about is the public restrooms with their 'urinals'. When i'm sandblasting that porcelain, it really creases me when theres splashback on my knees, due to me wearing shorts because of the Texas summer. This was not meant to gross any of ya'll out (especially...the ladies, chuckle) but as a reminder to step as far away from the public urinal as possible.

In other news, picked up the latest Perfect Vision and they reported that a slew of upcoming HDTV Monitors to be released this fall will come with the the DVI/HDCP port. Whoo.

Lakers elimated the Blazers...again. Looks like another wreck through the post season by the Lakers. So what's up with the self-proclaimed "Kobe Stopper," Ruben Patterson?? You can't stop Kobe if he's not trying to score...ah, the poor Portland Blazers. Such a team with so much talent, yet so much ego. Actually, if i've read closely enough they've actually pulled it together this time......NETS IN THE EAST/LAKERS IN THE WEST. LAKERS in 5!

Wedding postponed. The wedding Emily and I were supposed to go to was postponed. After spending the entire early afternoon applying equal parts pomeade, smoothie lotion and cleaning myself, I get a phone call that it was postponed. Too bad, because what I hear is that it was being held in a Castle up in Marble Falls, TX. Oh well, looks like it's another couple months before I can bust my new suit out.
