Whoo! Ever since we cracked the code to using the MAME32 and MAME32K Neo-Geo/CPS1-2 emulator, i've been downloading these old cheese games all morning. Here's some screenshots of this one that come out back in 1990 called NAM 1975. The entire beginning story is cliche' and gives me, a Vietnamese boy, a good history lesson on what really happened.
This is the main character...who doesn't really have a name, but likes to sleep with his shirt off.
|
After learning that his Tour of Duty has been extended, the main character makes shows some sign of frustrations.
|
 Home Sweet Home.
|
The rigors of sleeping without your shirt drives you insane.

Damn i'm tired. I had to go with my boss yesterday to Dallas for bidness. Woke up around 3:30am and got my grooming on, took the three and some odd hour drive up to Dallas and sat in customer meetings until my eyes fell out. Back to the DLP Star Wars thing: it still needs work, but I can definitely see where the technology is going and it's going ot be awesome.
For a descriptive site on DLP Projecters by Texas Instruments, check this out.

We're back! There was a problem with my network registrar...they kept on sending me emails to update my domain (PGBCO.COM) and it ended up that they no longer had any access to renew the ownership. Took me a couple of days to figure out who it was and then have Network Solutions actually implement the renewal, but now we're back. Saw the Star Wars Epsiode 2 on the DLP projector...mixed impressions on my part. I'll talk about that later.

Sacramento takes LA in Game 2. Looks like the Kings took big time advantage of ill-striken Kobe and Shaq's foul problems. I'm telling youse guys, this is gonna be a hell of a championship becuase now you actually have an Eastern Conference contenders in the Celtics or Nets (GO NETS!). Unless the three little ones actually send out assassins to take out Kobe/Shaq, nobody else stands a chance. In other news I'm starting to feel the Law of Diminishing Value. The General and I have had many a conversation on this peculiar law, and the best application that we can apply to prove it's existence in the physical universe is BOLOGNA.
1.) After many months of going without this relativaley cheap and bountiful deli meat, man goes to store and purchase an Oscar Meyer monster pack of it.
2.) Urge drives man to open pack and start making simple sandwiches consisting of said BOLOGNA, two slices of white bread and maybe mayo.
3.) "Oh man, this is soooo good. I've been missing out. I could eat this *EVERYDAY*." Man says to himself or loved one near by.
4.) Day two, after consuming roughly fifteen bologna sandwiches, man makes not to himself: "This stuff is gross. I can't eat another bite."
I feel the same way about Pastrami right now. After making those ruebans last night ("I can eat these everyday!") I made another sandwich last night (after the reubans) and then another one this morning (I got alot of Pastrami). I think if I eat another one i'm gonna puke. I'm still waiting on my co-Nobel prize for my help on this breakthru in micro-economics.
Song of the Day:
1.) Ian Moore - Paint me a Blue Sky. This is the live version that goes on for about...two hours or something.

Wahoo. It started off as one of those days. You know, where the surmounting mass of drudgery is coming down fast. Anyways, then it turned into the "let's watch the last epsiode of Ally McBeal." Whoo, man did that show stink. Looks like Vonda Shepard is out of a regular paycheck and the remainder of the cast will be rehashed through David E. Kelly's other crap. Oh well, the reuban's were good!
Song for the Evening:
1.) Kula Shaker - Hey Dude.
